Delhi Police’s Shakarpur Police Station swiftly resolved a robbery case by apprehending four individuals involved in planning and executing the crime. The breakthrough came after thorough technical surveillance and analysis of CCTV footage from various locations in Delhi.
The incident occurred on May 9 when the victim, Zubair Khan, was robbed of Rs 1,16,000 while traveling on his scooty near Geeta Colony Cut. The culprits, riding a motorcycle, intercepted him, threatened him with a knife, and fled with the cash from his vehicle.
Following the complaint, a police team led by SI Anubhav and others was formed to investigate the case. Through meticulous examination of CCTV footage and intelligence inputs, the authorities identified the suspects and their involvement in the robbery.
The arrested individuals, Arsh alias Arshad, Fardeen alias Farhan, Manjeet Singh alias Manni, and Humam Khan, were found to have conspired to rob the victim due to personal animosity and financial motives. The police recovered incriminating evidence, including the motorcycle used in the crime, leading to the suspects’ judicial custody.
