The Delhi Police, through the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Outer District, successfully located 34 missing individuals, including minors, in a five-day operation named ‘Mission Safe Return.’ The initiative, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikram Singh, focused on cases involving minors due to their sensitivity. A dedicated team, under ACP Virender Dalal’s supervision, worked diligently to trace the missing persons swiftly and efficiently.
The team conducted thorough field inquiries, engaging with the families, neighbors, and associates of the missing individuals. Utilizing advanced technical surveillance methods, the officers worked tirelessly round-the-clock to track leads and analyze data. As a result of their efforts, 34 missing persons, mostly leaving home due to minor disputes, were successfully located in different parts of Delhi.
The operation underscored the police force’s dedication to public safety and community well-being. The rescued individuals have been reunited with their families following legal procedures, with further necessary legal actions being pursued by the investigating officers.
