The Deol brothers, Sunny and Abhay, recently displayed their culinary talents during a fun get-together in Goa. Sunny, known for his role in ‘Border 2’, shared a jovial picture on his Instagram Stories, capturing a cooking session with Abhay. The caption read, “Trying our cooking skill in Goa.”
Sunny and Abhay Deol, who are first cousins, come from a family with a Bollywood lineage. Abhay, the son of Ajit Deol, the younger brother of late Bollywood icon Dharmendra, also reposted Sunny’s cooking escapade on his own social media account.
Despite their familial bond, the Deol brothers have not collaborated on a film project together. Sunny’s social media presence often offers glimpses into both his personal and professional life. Recently, he shared a video of himself enjoying a leisurely drive while listening to Satinder Sartaj’s “Beet Jaaniya” track.
In terms of work commitments, Sunny is gearing up for his upcoming action-packed film, “Gabru”. The movie, helmed by Shashank Udapurkar and produced by Om Chhangani and Vishal Rana, features a talented cast including Simran Bagga and Prit Kamani. Notably, “Gabru” was officially announced on Sunny’s 68th birthday, October 19, 2025, with the release of his first look poster.
Additionally, Sunny’s future projects include “Lahore 1947”, a period drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Set against the backdrop of India’s partition in 1947, the film stars Sunny alongside Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal, and Abhimanyu Singh. The storyline is said to be inspired by Asghar Wajahat’s drama “Jis Lahore Nai Vekhya, O Jamya E Nai”.
