Actress Dia Mirza welcomed director and choreographer Farah Khan to her home for a joint project on Farah’s YouTube channel. The two celebrities bonded over making healthy banana bread and shared some interesting anecdotes. Dia fondly remembered her shooting experiences with Salman Khan during the film “Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge,” where they were co-stars alongside Sushmita Sen. During their interaction, Farah playfully suggested that Dia should consider working with Salman again, to which Dia humorously responded that he now prefers younger actresses. Dia also reminisced about a conversation with Salman early in her career when he jokingly predicted that she would play his mother on screen one day, leaving her shocked at the time.
Salman’s light-hearted remark about Dia eventually playing a motherly role was made during a casual moment on set, where they were waiting for a shot alongside actor Rajpal Yadav. Dia, then just 19 years old, expressed surprise at the young age of the actress playing Salman’s mother in the movie. However, Salman assured her that such a transition would also happen to her in due course. The film “Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge,” released in 2002 and directed by Pankaj Parashar, featured a star-studded cast including Salman Khan, Dia Mirza, Sushmita Sen, and several other notable actors in supporting roles.
Salman Khan is currently engaged in the film “Maatrubhumi,” previously known as “Battle of Galwan,” where Chitrangada Singh has been cast as the female lead.
