Only days after its release, the film ‘Satluj,’ starring Diljit Dosanjh, has been removed from the OTT platform Zee5. Zee5 shared an official statement on Instagram, mentioning that they have decided to ‘pause’ the drama in India while expressing their support for the film. The platform cited ‘current developments’ as the reason behind this decision.
Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming response from viewers, Zee5 stated that the film’s reception had been exceptional since its release. They emphasized their commitment to the film and its creative team, highlighting the power of impactful storytelling. Zee5 assured that they are exploring options to bring ‘Satluj’ back to Indian audiences as soon as possible through appropriate channels.
Previously known as ‘Punjab 95,’ the film faced censorship challenges before its digital release.
