Director Prosit Roy, known for the success of ‘Raakh’, a recent streaming series, discussed the difficulties faced in sourcing vintage vehicles for the show. The series, set in the late 1970s, revolves around a crime that triggers a nationwide manhunt, drawing inspiration from a real-life case.
In an interview, Roy highlighted the meticulous production design of ‘Raakh’, especially the use of period-appropriate cars, scooters, and bikes. He mentioned the challenges encountered in maintaining these old vehicles, causing delays during filming due to technical issues.
Roy humorously shared anecdotes of actors struggling with the vintage vehicles on set. Ali Fazal, in particular, faced challenges driving a small jeep due to his height, leading to unexpected comedic situations during intense action sequences.
‘Raakh’ is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
