Anamika Chauhan, the district topper of Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh in the CBSE class 12 exams, expressed her ambition to pursue a career as a judge. She credited her success to her parents, teachers, and principal for their guidance, leading to her outstanding 99% score in the humanities stream. Chauhan emphasized the importance of solving sample papers, with support from her family and school, contributing to her achievement.
Chauhan, a student at Balaji Global School, dedicated four to five hours daily to her studies, beyond regular school hours. Encouraging her peers, she advised limiting mobile phone use and focusing on academics, emphasizing the pivotal role of education in shaping one’s future. Her father acknowledged her mother, teachers, and mentor for their significant role in her academic journey, highlighting their crucial support and guidance.
The CBSE class 12 results this year revealed a decrease in the overall passing percentage to 85.20%, down by 3.19% from the previous year. Noteworthy was the higher performance of girls compared to boys, with girls achieving a pass percentage of 88.86% as opposed to boys at 82.13%, showcasing a lead of 6.73% by female students.
