Actor Dulquer Salmaan has revealed that his upcoming movie ‘I’m Game’, directed by Nahas Hidhayath, is set to be his most stylish project yet. The film, shot at 100 locations in South India, is currently in its post-production phase after wrapping up filming in April this year. Salmaan shared wrap-up pictures on social media, expressing gratitude and announcing the release date of August 20.
Sources close to the actor mention that both the character and the film’s world have been crafted in a modern and stylish manner. Director Nahas Hidayath aimed to present Salmaan in a fresh, stylish avatar, a key aspect of the project. In February, the film’s makers celebrated Salmaan’s 14-year acting milestone with a special poster release.
The movie also welcomed actress Kayadu Lohar last December, known for her role in the Tamil film ‘Dragon’. Director Nahas Hidhayath expressed excitement about Lohar joining the cast. The first look poster of ‘I’m Game’, featuring Salmaan in a stylish pose with a pistol, garnered significant attention from fans and movie enthusiasts.
‘I’m Game’ is Nahas Hidayath’s next project after the successful ‘RDX’. The film, which began production on May 3 last year, features actors Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kathir, Parth Thiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan. Stunt choreography is handled by Anbariv Masters, known for their work in major films like ‘Kabali’ and ‘KGF’.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Verghese, ‘I’m Game’ marks Salmaan’s return to Malayalam cinema and is his 40th film. The story is by Nahas Hidhayath, with screenplay by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker. The film’s technical team includes Jimshi Khalid for cinematography, Chaman Chakko for editing, and Jakes Bejoy for music.
