An eight-month-old girl tragically passed away in Alwar after reportedly being compelled to ingest acid by her mother in Bhiwadi. The incident occurred following a dispute where the mother insisted on visiting her parental home, as per the father’s complaint. The child, residing in Bhiwadi’s Labour Colony area of Khairthal-Tijara district, lost her life during treatment.
Police have initiated an investigation based on the father’s report. The father, Mohit, a marketing executive at a solar company, accused his wife, Sapna, of pressuring their daughter to consume acid during an argument while he was at work. The father’s sister, noticing the child’s deteriorating condition, informed Mohit, leading to the child being rushed to the hospital.
The infant was initially taken to Bhiwadi District Hospital and later transferred to Alwar for specialized care. Dr. Charu Garg from Alwar Medical College mentioned that the child arrived in critical condition with severe internal organ damage due to the acid ingestion. Despite medical efforts, the child could not be saved, succumbing two days after the tragic incident. The father, grieving the loss of his only daughter, has demanded strict action against his wife.
