Hollywood actor Elijah Wood shared that a line from ‘Lord of the Rings’ almost didn’t make it to the film. Wood, known for his role as Frodo Baggins, discussed the line “All right then, keep your secrets” during a fan event. He mentioned that the scene featuring this line was actually shot during additional filming sessions known as pickups.

The process of pickup shoots was challenging, especially for actors in heavy makeup and prosthetics. Wood described the early morning pickups, with some actors having to endure long hours of makeup application. Last year, Sir Ian McKellen hinted at a possible return of Gandalf and Frodo in a spinoff directed by Andy Serkis, titled ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum’.

Wood neither confirmed nor denied his involvement in the spinoff but expressed excitement about the project. He praised the reunion of the original creative team, including director Peter Jackson and writers Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh. Wood emphasized his enthusiasm for the film, describing it as a nostalgic reunion of the core team to explore the beloved character further.
