The film, co-written by Mayank Sharma and Vishal Kapoor, renowned for their work in horror films, is produced by Vikram Khakhar and Sunny Khanna under Vicked Films Productions. Emraan Hashmi, recognized for his success in the horror genre, is eager to portray a deeply layered character in “Rooh.” Additionally, he is set to appear in “Awarapan 2,” a sequel to the 2007 film “Awarapan,” directed by Mohit Suri. The sequel, directed by Nitin Kakkar, features a star-studded cast including Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani, and Shabana Azmi in significant roles.
