Angus Garant Brown’s unbeaten century, scoring 100 from 43 balls, was a standout performance for England. Supported by Lian O’Brien’s 51 not out from 30 balls, they formed a crucial partnership that propelled England past the 200-run mark.
India, in response, started well with Akash Singh’s 48 off 22 balls and Captain Ravindra Sante’s quick 32 off 17 balls. However, England’s bowlers, including James Dixon and Henry John, took key wickets in the final overs, restricting India to 191 for 8, falling short of the target.
