Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in a community programme in The Hague, members of the Indian diaspora in the Netherlands expressed excitement and pride over his visit, feeling honored to welcome him. Prime Minister Modi is set to interact with the Indian community during his visit to The Hague, where diaspora members eagerly gathered to greet him. One attendee expressed feeling privileged to witness PM Modi, stating, “I feel very privileged to be here this morning in The Hague to see PM Modi.”
Another member of the diaspora representing the Ramayana World organization mentioned, “We are here and very excited to welcome and meet Prime Minister Modi here. We are representing the Ramayana World.” Additionally, a supporter warmly welcomed the Prime Minister, saying, “We welcome you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” The occasion was deemed special by another member of the Indian community, who stated, “It is a great opportunity for us to be able to meet him today.”
Expressing gratitude, a diaspora member thanked the Indian Embassy in the Netherlands for organizing the event and extending invitations to community members. Meanwhile, PM Modi shared glimpses from the warm welcome by the Indian community in the Netherlands, which included various dance performances. PM Modi is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten, and meet King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima during his official visit. His stay in the Netherlands is expected to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two nations.
