Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently visited actor Gaurav Gera’s home with her cook Dilip for a food vlog. Gera showcased his cooking skills and shared insights into his television journey, including his role as Chutki in Kapil Sharma’s show. He mentioned that his decision to appear in fewer episodes of the show was intentional as he hoped to be a guest on it someday.
Gera also discussed how he created the character of Chutki, mentioning that he developed the character in a matter of seconds. He clarified that Sharmila Tagore’s voice inspired the character. Additionally, during the vlog, Gera defended his co-star Ranveer Singh against rumors of excessive demands on the set of Aditya Dhar’s film “Dhurandhar.”
Addressing the rumors about Ranveer Singh’s alleged multiple vanity vans on set, Gera stated that he did not witness any such extravagant arrangements during the shoot. Farah Khan praised Ranveer’s performance in the film and humorously suggested fulfilling all his demands post-“Dhurandhar.” Gera confirmed that he did not observe an excessive number of vans on set.
Notably, reports from last year had circulated claiming Ranveer Singh required three vanity vans during shoots, which his team had refuted. In “Dhurandhar,” Gera portrays the character of Mohammad Aalam, also known as Aalam Bhai, an Indian intelligence agent undercover as a juice shop owner in Lyari, Pakistan.
