A Ferrari car speeding in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills crashed into an apartment building gate early Sunday, causing significant damage. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident. The abandoned Ferrari Roma, valued at over Rs 3.50 crore, was heavily damaged in the collision.
The luxury car’s front portion was severely mangled, and the occupants fled the scene before the police arrived. Authorities suspect the driver, who escaped, was driving under the influence of alcohol and recklessly at high speed. Police are investigating the driver’s identity and examining CCTV footage for more information.
This crash marks the second recent incident in Jubilee Hills, following an SUV crashing into Tollywood actor Dharma’s residence on July 9. The SUV driver, identified as Karthik Kumar, was found to be intoxicated and driving negligently. Despite damaging the actor’s house, there were no injuries reported. The police arrested the accused after a breathalyser test confirmed his inebriation.
Authorities have registered criminal cases in both incidents and are conducting further investigations into the drivers’ actions.
