At least five individuals lost their lives, and one person sustained critical injuries in a tragic incident on National Highway 30 in Maihar district, Madhya Pradesh. The accident occurred when a speeding Mahindra XUV700 collided with the rear of a truck near Rigra village early Tuesday morning. The impact was so severe that the SUV was severely damaged, trapping all occupants inside.
Emergency response teams, including Dial-112 personnel, highway patrol, and local police, quickly arrived at the scene to conduct a rescue operation. Tragically, five occupants were found deceased, while one individual with serious injuries was rushed to Amarpatan Civil Hospital before being transferred to Satna District Hospital for further treatment.

Initial investigations suggest that the group was returning from a birthday celebration when the accident occurred.
