A tragic incident unfolded in Chipyana village, Greater Noida, where a five-year-old boy named Ishu drowned in an open pond. Ishu, missing since February 18, was found lifeless in the pond six days later, leaving his family devastated. The lack of safety measures at the pond has sparked outrage among villagers, who blame authorities for negligence.

Residents and family members recounted how Ishu went missing while playing outside his house on February 18. Despite extensive searches and a missing person complaint, his body was only discovered in the nearby pond on Monday. Villagers expressed anger over the absence of proper fencing, warning signs, or security measures around the pond, emphasizing that such tragedies could have been prevented with better safety protocols.

The tragic incident has plunged Chipyana village into mourning, with grieving family members struggling to come to terms with the loss. Villagers are demanding immediate action from the authorities to secure open ponds and prevent similar accidents in the future. While the police suspect accidental drowning, a thorough investigation is underway to explore all possibilities surrounding Ishu’s untimely demise.
