Former Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam has called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to dismiss all office-bearers of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust amid a donation-related controversy. Krishnam emphasized the importance of justice and the need for the trust’s officials to step down until the matter is resolved to uphold moral responsibility.
Krishnam highlighted the significance of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust as a revered place of faith for millions of devotees. He stressed that any allegations of irregularities or theft within the trust should prompt immediate changes. Additionally, Krishnam urged swift action from the authorities to address the situation and restore public trust in the institution.
Addressing the Bharat Tiwari encounter case in Bihar, Krishnam expressed concerns over extrajudicial actions and condemned what he described as fake encounters. He emphasized the need to distinguish between legitimate law enforcement operations and unlawful killings, calling for accountability in cases where individuals are targeted unjustly.
Krishnam raised alarm over the targeting of Brahmin youths, labeling it as a troubling trend that requires serious contemplation. He called for a thorough examination of such incidents and emphasized the importance of ensuring justice and protection for all members of society. Krishnam’s statements come in the wake of a fresh PIL filed in the Supreme Court seeking a CBI-led SIT investigation into alleged financial irregularities within the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
