Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda’s wife, Chennamma, is in critical condition at Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru due to severe respiratory issues. Specialist doctors are closely monitoring her, with stable vital signs but ongoing breathing concerns.

Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has canceled his engagements to be with his ailing mother, while his brother and sister-in-law have been by her side. Chennamma’s health worsened suddenly on July 17, leading to a family rush to the hospital for consultations with medical staff.

Kumaraswamy mentioned his mother’s past health struggles, expressing hope in her recovery. Chennamma has been hospitalized for three days, receiving continuous specialized care. The family, visibly distressed, is relying on faith and medical intervention for her well-being.

Political figures from various parties have sent wishes for Chennamma’s quick recuperation. Supporters gathering outside the hospital are hopeful for her swift recovery and return home soon.
