Four individuals tragically lost their lives in a collision between a motorcycle and a private bus in Parbhani district, Maharashtra. The incident occurred on the Parbhani-Pathri Highway early on a Saturday when the two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in immediate fatalities. The collision was so severe that the motorcycle was left completely destroyed.
The fatal accident took place near the Andharwad Maruti Temple area, close to Rahul Ginning, on the busy Parbhani-Pathri stretch. Reports indicate that the private bus, traveling from Parbhani to Pune, collided with the motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction. Local residents who heard the impact rushed to the scene, leading to a tense situation as an enraged crowd reportedly damaged the bus.
Upon receiving reports of the incident, law enforcement swiftly arrived at the location to prevent any escalation of the situation. With the help of locals, the police moved the deceased to a government hospital for post-mortem examinations. Efforts were also made to clear the damaged vehicles from the road and restore traffic flow on the Parbhani-Pathri Highway.
Following the accident, there was a temporary disruption in traffic flow on the highway, causing delays for commuters due to a resulting traffic jam. Normal traffic operations resumed after authorities completed the necessary response activities and cleared the roadway.
