The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has initiated a significant enforcement operation targeting the consumption of alcohol and other intoxicants in public spaces. During a special drive in various parts of the UP district, 125 individuals faced legal action for violating these regulations. The crackdown, carried out jointly by police teams from Sector-63 and Ecotech-3 police stations, aims to combat substance abuse in public areas and maintain law and order for the safety of residents and visitors.
The operation spanned multiple public locations such as markets, roads, parks, and other crowded areas where individuals were found consuming alcohol and intoxicants against the law. Sector-63 police station took action against 72 individuals for such violations, while Ecotech-3 police station dealt with 53 people engaging in similar illegal activities. This coordinated effort resulted in a total of 125 individuals being subjected to legal proceedings under the jurisdiction of the two police stations.
Under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) and the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida), the drive was executed by police teams led by ACP-1 and ACP-3 of Central Noida. The campaign’s objective was to discourage behaviors that negatively impact the social environment and contribute to disturbances in public order. Authorities emphasized that such enforcement actions are part of an ongoing initiative to maintain discipline in public spaces and prevent disruptions to normal civic life.
Police personnel, during the operation, urged the public to refrain from consuming alcohol or any intoxicants in public areas and to cooperate with law enforcement for social harmony and public order. The Police Commissionerate reiterated its commitment to sustained action against violators and announced future special drives to ensure compliance with the law and maintain public spaces free from activities that could harm the community.
