The event, a joint venture between the Asian Tour and the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL), holds significance in the Indian and Asian golfing calendar.
This tournament offers Indian players a chance to elevate their golfing careers, with the winner earning a full card to the region’s main Tour. Notable Indian contenders alongside Bhullar include Pukhraj Gill, Karandeep Kochhar, and Udayan Mane, among others. The competition also features international players like Ian Snyman from South Africa and Pavit Tangkamolprasert from Thailand.
The IGPL Bharath Classic, now in its second year, will see defending champion Poosit Supupramai from Thailand aiming to retain his title. The tournament will take place at the Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in Morocco, known for its stunning 18-hole course designed by Gary Player. The event promises an exciting showdown with a field of 144 players and a cut after 36 holes.
