The government introduced the Bharat Tex 2026 Event App to facilitate AI-driven networking and business connections at India’s premier global textile event. The digital platform, inaugurated by Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles, aims to improve the experience for buyers, international delegates, speakers, and visitors attending Bharat Tex 2026. It offers features such as event information access, exhibitor discovery, meeting scheduling, venue navigation, lead generation, and real-time updates through a single interface.
A key highlight of the app is its AI smart assistant, providing attendees with a 24×7 conversational guide for event-related queries. Users can seek information on schedules, venue details, directions, and other essential aspects in a user-friendly manner, catering to both domestic and international participants. The platform also facilitates structured networking and business interactions through dedicated meeting modules, allowing users to find relevant partners, schedule meetings, manage availability, receive requests, and monitor interactions effectively.
Additionally, the app includes a QR-based lead capture system that enables exhibitors and participants to scan digital badges and store contact details for future follow-ups. It offers exhibitor discovery tools, advanced navigation support, floor plans, booth location services, live event agendas, and knowledge sessions. Bharat Tex 2026, organized by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation in collaboration with textile export promotion councils and industry bodies, supported by the Ministry of Textiles, aligns with the Prime Minister’s 5F vision to position India as a global textile sourcing and investment hub.
The event is scheduled to take place from July 14 to July 17 in the national capital, expecting over 7,000 international buyers and more than 1,30,000 trade visitors to showcase India’s complete textile value chain.
