Union MoS for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the government’s efforts in resolving legacy service-related grievances pending for 25 to 30 years. The government’s commitment to engaging with employee organizations through dialogue and consultations was emphasized. Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that responsive governance and administrative reforms have made grievance redressal a key aspect of public administration.

The delegation of the Bharatiya Postal Employees Federation, affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, discussed various issues with Dr. Jitendra Singh. These included service matters, employee welfare, recognition-related concerns, and the need for timely resolution of pending administrative and legal matters. The delegation appreciated the government’s focus on administrative reforms and acknowledged the attention given to long-pending service-related cases and employee grievances.

Dr. Jitendra Singh assured that genuine representations are evaluated based on merit and applicable rules. Matters involving multiple ministries and departments undergo institutional consultation for transparent and sustainable outcomes. The delegation stressed the importance of coordinated consideration across departments and sought continued support for addressing genuine employee concerns within the legal framework.

Employee representatives were encouraged to provide documented suggestions for strengthening governance and public service delivery.
