Gujarat BJP President, Jagdish Vishwakarma, emphasized that the recent election results in the state signify public support for a development-driven governance approach. He criticized the Congress for allegedly tarnishing India’s image internationally during two party events in Banaskantha and Mehsana districts. Vishwakarma commended the BJP’s victory in the local body elections, attributing it to the party’s dedicated organizational work and the voters’ trust.
At the ‘Banas Vijayotsav’ event in Banaskantha, Vishwakarma praised the relentless efforts of BJP workers across 2025 booths, leading to the party’s win in the District Panchayat after 31 years. He highlighted that the electoral verdict reflects the populace’s endorsement of the government’s developmental policies. Vishwakarma noted that over 90% of institutions in Gujarat have overwhelmingly supported the BJP, endorsing both development initiatives and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Vishwakarma underscored the shift towards development-centric politics in Gujarat under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He credited the cooperative sector’s progress to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, with the Banaskantha dairy model playing a significant role in the national dairy movement. The BJP President criticized the Congress for its alleged attempts to defame the country on the global stage, stating that the public will not forgive such actions. He also highlighted the rejection of caste-based politics in Banaskantha and expressed optimism that this trend would persist in future elections.
In Mehsana, Vishwakarma reiterated the public’s faith in Prime Minister Modi’s leadership as reflected in the electoral outcome. He attributed the victory to the people of Gujarat, emphasizing their trust in development and the Prime Minister. Vishwakarma pointed out the BJP’s strong performance in municipal corporations, district panchayats, and taluka panchayats, crediting it to the party’s robust organization and grassroots mobilization efforts. He highlighted the year-round engagement of party workers with the public, not just during elections.
