A total of 16.63 lakh students in Gujarat are set to kick off their Standard 10 and Standard 12 board exams on February 26. The state government has assured that thorough arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and secure examination process. Examinations will start with a focus on providing a fear-free and peaceful environment for all students.
Gujarat government spokesperson and Minister Jitu Vaghani has conveyed his best wishes to all candidates and their parents as they gear up for the exams. Vaghani emphasized that exams should be seen as an opportunity for growth rather than a source of stress. He encouraged students to approach their papers confidently and without unnecessary pressure.
Vaghani referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent interaction with students during “Pariksha Pe Charcha,” where the PM motivated students to face exams with self-assurance and calmness. He highlighted the importance of recognizing individual strengths and focusing on personal skills while appearing for exams. Vaghani urged students to tackle exams without worry and with a positive mindset.
Official data reveals that more than 9.07 lakh Standard 10 students and over 5.01 lakh general stream students along with more than 1.19 lakh science stream students in Standard 12 will be taking the exams. Additionally, candidates registered for GUJCET will also participate in the exams, bringing the total number of examinees in the state to 16.63 lakh.
The state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and with the support of Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, has ensured necessary facilities and strict security measures at all exam centers. Vaghani emphasized the importance of a calm atmosphere for students to write their exams and appealed to parents to provide a supportive and stress-free environment at home.
Encouraging students to stay focused during their exams, Vaghani advised them to maintain composure and present their knowledge effectively. He reassured students that their hard work will surely yield positive outcomes.
