Gujarat Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, celebrated his 64th birthday at the Dada Bhagwan Trimandir in Adalaj, seeking blessings for the well-being and progress of the state’s people. Patel began his day at the Trimandir complex in Gandhinagar, paying respects at the memorials before offering prayers at the temple. He engaged in rituals like ‘Jalabhishek’ at the Shiva temple and interacted with devotees present.
Sharing his birthday observance on social media, Patel mentioned virtually participating in the worship of Shri Somnath Mahadev, the first of the 12 Jyotirlingas. He expressed gratitude for the special Mahapuja initiative at the Somnath temple launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Patel also received birthday wishes from various political leaders, emphasizing Gujarat’s commitment to the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’.
Born in 1962, Patel, a civil engineer, has been serving as Gujarat’s Chief Minister since September 2021. He leads the state for a second consecutive term after the BJP’s victory in the 2022 Assembly elections. Patel represents the Ghatlodia Assembly constituency and has held significant roles in Ahmedabad’s municipal administration.
