Two individuals lost their lives, and two others sustained critical injuries following a financial disagreement that turned violent in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place in Nizampur village under the jurisdiction of the Sikandrabad Police Station. The clash erupted between two groups after a dispute over a monetary transaction escalated quickly.
The disagreement initially started between Uttam Sharma from Sikandarabad and Prashant over financial matters. However, the situation intensified, leading to a clash between the groups from Nizampur village. The verbal argument soon transformed into a physical altercation, with firearms allegedly being used, resulting in a violent confrontation between the rival factions.
During the altercation, Ajab Singh, aged 45, was shot by members of one group and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. In retaliation, members of the opposing group intentionally ran over Sonu, also known as Sunil, aged 40, causing his immediate death. Moreover, two other individuals, identified as Arvind and Ratan, suffered gunshot wounds during the exchange of fire and are currently undergoing medical treatment.
Bulandshahr Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dinesh Kumar Singh stated that the investigation suggests the violence originated from a monetary dispute that escalated into a fatal confrontation. The SSP mentioned that legal action will be taken against all individuals involved in the incident. Following the clash, law enforcement officials, including senior officers and the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Meerut Range, arrived at the village to assess the situation and oversee the investigation.
