Gujarat Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, commemorated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s 135th birth anniversary by paying respects in Gandhinagar. Starting the day with floral tributes at the state Legislative Assembly, he later garlanded a statue of Ambedkar at the Dr Ambedkar Statue Complex.
Students from Rangoli International School shared insights into Ambedkar’s life and legacy through a speech. The public, including Legislative Assembly members and citizens, gathered at Central Vista Garden to honor Ambedkar, chanting “Jai Bhim” in tribute.
President Droupadi Murmu also paid homage to Ambedkar during her Gujarat visit, joined by Governor Acharya Devvrat. Officials from both the Centre and state government acknowledged Ambedkar’s significant role in shaping the Constitution and the nation.
