Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel initiated the ‘Sardar Ekta Yatra’ from Ahmedabad, aiming to spread Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s principles of unity and patriotism nationwide. Organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Kurmi Patidar Mahasabha, the yatra will showcase artifacts related to Sardar Patel’s life during its journey through Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

During the event, the Chief Minister highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in honoring Sardar Patel’s legacy, including the establishment of National Unity Day and the iconic Statue of Unity. Patel emphasized that the statue symbolizes India’s unity on a global scale.

Celebrating Sardar Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, Patel underscored the importance of uniting the country under the vision of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” He urged citizens to embrace indigenous values and contribute to building a self-reliant India as a tribute to Sardar Patel’s spirit of ‘Nation First.’

The yatra, led by Satishbhai Patel and Gordhan Zadafia, received enthusiastic support with chants of “Jai Sardar, Sabke Sardar.” The event witnessed the participation of Patidar community leaders, organizers, and students, emphasizing the significance of unity and patriotism in the country.
