Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel recently visited the Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka and Sasan Gir. At the temple, he prayed for the well-being of the state’s people and engaged with devotees. Patel was honored by the district administration with a shawl and a temple replica.
During his Sasan Gir visit, Patel explored the local market, interacted with residents, and checked out stalls selling regional products. He later undertook a jungle safari in Gir National Park, observing Asiatic lions and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Patel also flagged off vehicles to enhance wildlife protection efforts.
The Chief Minister’s tour included a visit to a Forest Department rescue center. Officials updated him on conservation initiatives under Project Lion, focusing on Asiatic lion protection. They highlighted designated safari routes for wildlife viewing in Gir Safari Park and surrounding areas.
