Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, emphasized India’s shift from the “Fragile Five” to one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. Patel credited this transformation to policy reforms initiated under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He praised the mantra of “Reform, Perform, and Transform” for fostering a conducive policy environment that supports industry and economic growth.
Patel underscored the significance of inclusive development through initiatives like the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, which aims to propel balanced regional growth and showcase local strengths globally. He highlighted the success of promoting regional capabilities on an international stage through concepts like “Vocal for Local” and “Local to Global.” Patel also commended the Prime Minister for safeguarding Indian industries amidst challenging global circumstances.
The Chief Minister expressed pride in the international community’s growing confidence in India’s leadership, including the Indian diaspora’s strengthened trust. He noted the substantial foreign remittances of Rs 13 lakh crore in 2025, driven by the rising confidence in the Prime Minister’s governance. Patel lauded the Vibrant Gujarat Summit’s role in positioning Gujarat as a premier global investment hub and reiterated the state government’s commitment to fostering balanced regional development in alignment with the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.”
The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference concluded with over Rs 3.34 lakh crore in investment proposals through 3,759 memoranda of understanding, expected to generate more than 1.97 lakh potential job opportunities. The event’s closing session witnessed the presence of dignitaries such as Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Rajiv Ranjan Singh, along with industrialists, government officials, and industry association representatives.
