With the NEET-UG 2026 exam set for Sunday nationwide, the Gujarat Police assures full readiness to ensure a secure and peaceful conduct. Inspector General of Police Makrand Chauhan highlighted the department’s coordination with various authorities for a smooth examination process. Special security measures are in place for the transportation of question papers and maintaining exam integrity.
Arrangements have been made to facilitate students’ timely arrival at exam centers through various transport modes without disruptions. Stringent security protocols cover the entire process, including distribution of question papers, candidate checks, and prevention of malpractices. The Cyber Centre of Excellence will monitor for misinformation during the exam to prevent any disturbances.
Police units are tasked with crowd control outside exam centers to prevent congestion. The NEET-UG 2026 exam, supervised by the NTA, will be held in a single shift from 2 to 5:15 p.m. in multiple cities. Security measures have been heightened across states to ensure a transparent and secure exam environment.
