Gyan Shakti Think Tank (GSTT), affiliated with Sapta Shakti Command, organized a thought-provoking discussion on the book ‘Redlines Redrawn: Operation Sindoor and India’s New Normal’ at Jaipur Military Station. The event saw the participation of serving and retired defense personnel, academicians, and students from renowned universities and schools in Jaipur. Major General (Dr) Bipin Bakshi (Retd), former Ambassador Anil Trigunayat, and Brigadier Akhilesh Bhargava (Retd) were among the distinguished panelists who shared insights on the subject.
The speakers delved into the 88-hour Operation Sindoor and its implications for India’s strategic doctrines. They provided a comprehensive overview of the book’s eight chapters, highlighting how India showcased its strategic determination to counter Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. An interactive session allowed attendees to engage in a lively question-and-answer exchange with the panelists. Since its inception in November 2024, Gyan Shakti Think Tank has conducted 11 seminars covering various contemporary topics, including book discussions like this one.
The platform aims to stimulate intellectual discourse on strategic and defense-related matters, facilitating meaningful conversations among veterans, experts, and young scholars. Lieutenant General P.S. Shekhawat, Chief of Staff at Sapta Shakti Command, praised the authors for their work and commended their in-depth analysis of Operation Sindoor. He expressed gratitude to the speakers for shedding light on the political, military, and diplomatic aspects that influenced the operation.
