Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently met with a delegation led by Ryo Murao, Managing Director and India Head of Mizuho Bank of Japan, in Chandigarh. The delegation expressed a strong interest in signing a memorandum of understanding with Haryana’s Foreign Cooperation Department, focusing on sectors like automobile manufacturing, education, financial services, and the semiconductor industry.
The Mizuho Bank delegation commended Haryana’s progressive policies and favorable business environment, leading to the relocation of their office from Delhi to Gurugram. They requested ongoing support from the state government to expand their activities and investments in Haryana. Chief Minister Saini assured the delegation of the government’s unwavering assistance, emphasizing Haryana’s commitment to offering a conducive and transparent business ecosystem supported by modern infrastructure and skilled workforce.
Highlighting Haryana’s strategic advantages, policy reforms, and proactive governance, Chief Minister Saini positioned the state as an attractive hub for global investors, particularly in high-tech and knowledge-based sectors. Additionally, during the meeting, CM Saini presented Ryo Murao with a copy of the Bhagavad Gita, discussing its timeless principles of duty, ethics, and balanced decision-making. The Department of Foreign Cooperation, responsible for the state’s international relations and diaspora support, plays a crucial role in promoting Haryana’s global engagement and development vision.
