Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would come to power in Punjab in the 2027 elections under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He criticized the current Punjab government for failing to fulfill promises and causing issues like drug addiction and unemployment. He also mentioned the government’s efforts to support farmers by procuring crops at minimum support prices. Additionally, Saini highlighted initiatives in Haryana to honor Guru Teg Bahadur’s martyrdom and promote awareness of his sacrifices among the youth.
The Chief Minister took a dig at the AAP government in Punjab, alleging its failure to fulfill promises and criticizing its governance practices.
