Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the swift progress of development projects in the Ladwa Assembly constituency. Significant initiatives, valued at crores, are underway in both rural and urban areas, aiming to enhance facilities and services for local residents upon completion.
Addressing a gathering in Babain, Kurukshetra district, the Chief Minister inaugurated the beautification of Saraswati Chowk. He engaged with the community, addressing their concerns and instructing officials to address them promptly.
Furthermore, a Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Memorial is in progress on nearly five acres in Umri, Kurukshetra. Notably, infrastructure enhancements like the Rakshi river paving and road construction in Ladwa city are ongoing, alongside the establishment of a government veterinary polyclinic in Biholi and a sports stadium in Dhanora Jatan village.
Under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana,’ farmers have received Rs 15,448 crore in claims, with Rs 116,15,57,000 disbursed to 53,821 farmers for crop losses. The government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare includes procurement of 24 crops at the minimum support price, with Haryana being the sole state to implement this policy.
In a significant move, Rs 1,64,000 crore has been directly credited to the bank accounts of 12 lakh farmers over 12 seasons for crop procurement, reflecting the government’s focus on agricultural support.
