The Haryana government has implemented a robust security setup to guarantee a peaceful and transparent National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2026) on June 21. Under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s guidance, special security measures have been activated by the government, district administrations, and police to uphold the exam’s integrity and ensure a safe environment for candidates. Across 19 districts including Gurugram, Faridabad, and Rohtak, each exam center will have ample police presence, duty magistrates, frisking teams, and Quick Response Teams (QRTs).
Chief Minister Saini has instructed officials to arrange for security, traffic management, medical aid, water supply, and other essential facilities. The government is dedicated to offering a fair and unbiased exam atmosphere to all candidates. Director General of Police (DGP) Ajay Singhal has affirmed the Haryana Police’s readiness to oversee a fair and peaceful NEET-UG. He has mandated regular monitoring, surprise checks, and continuous security reviews by police commissioners, superintendents, and senior officers.
DGP Singhal has warned of stringent legal action against exam fraudsters, troublemakers, and rumor mongers. Candidates and parents are urged to adhere to set guidelines and report any suspicious activities. A dual-layer frisking system is in place at all centers, with police and Home Guard personnel conducting initial screenings before candidates enter, followed by security staff on-site. For every 100 candidates, at least one frisking team member will be present, with women comprising at least half of these teams, and handheld metal detectors will be utilized.
