The Haryana Thunders faced a narrow 4-5 defeat against Maharashtra Kesari in the Pro Wrestling League (PWL) 2026. Despite this setback, the team’s owners are positive about their ability to bounce back and deliver stronger performances throughout the season.

The franchise management lauded the players’ resilience, emphasizing their fighting spirit until the very end of the match. While acknowledging the close loss, they expressed confidence in the team’s potential for improvement in upcoming fixtures.

Following the match, Prerana Banka, a co-owner of Haryana Thunders, commended the players for their unwavering efforts. She highlighted the team’s strong performance and encouraged them to view the defeat as a learning experience to stay motivated and focused.

Isha Gupta, another owner of Haryana Thunders, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing that the outcome did not reflect the team’s dedication on the wrestling mat. Despite the disappointment, she emphasized the importance of resilience and learning from such challenges to emerge stronger.

Owner Shreya Parasrampuriya also praised the team’s determination and perseverance, emphasizing that both victories and defeats are integral parts of sports. Expressing confidence in the team’s resilience, she believed that the Haryana Thunders would bounce back stronger from this experience.
