The Haryana Youth Dialogue’s second edition kicked off at the Haryana Legislative Assembly with 65 participants from 13 states. Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan inaugurated the event in collaboration with the Rajdhani Yuva Sansad Sansthan by lighting a lamp.
During the event, Speaker Kalyan emphasized India’s journey from colonialism to becoming the world’s largest democracy. He highlighted the significance of the Constitution and unity in the nation’s progress, urging citizens to work together towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for India by 2047.
Speaker Kalyan stressed the importance of diversity in India, noting that despite various languages and cultures, the common goal remains the nation’s advancement. He encouraged the youth present to uphold democratic values and actively engage in discussions for societal betterment.
The program featured discussions on sustainable development, industrial expansion, environmental protection, and the role of youth in shaping the future. Legislators and advisors shared insights on the freedom movement, democratic values, and the need for balanced resource utilization.
