Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda unveiled Aarogya Setu 2.0 and a range of digital health projects to enhance India’s Digital Public Infrastructure for health. The launch of these digital health initiatives is aimed at creating a more integrated, accessible, and citizen-centric healthcare system.
The event saw the participation of key figures like Prataprao Jadhav, Anupriya Patel, and Dr. M. Srinivas, emphasizing the importance of these initiatives in strengthening India’s digital health ecosystem. The government’s efforts, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, focus on integrating traditional healthcare systems with modern practices. This approach aims to provide a comprehensive and patient-centered healthcare framework.
Among the initiatives launched are Aarogya Setu 2.0, Ayushman App, Ayushman Sarathi WhatsApp Chatbot, and other digital tools to streamline healthcare services. These advancements are part of a broader strategy to enhance healthcare delivery, empower women with easy access to medical records, and reduce the workload of frontline health workers. Additionally, the introduction of e-Sushrut@Clinic, a user-friendly Hospital Management Information System, is set to revolutionize healthcare management in outpatient clinics.
