The first look poster of actor Chirag Jani as Mohammad Bin Tughlaq in director Mohan G Kshatriyan’s historical action drama ‘Draupathi 2’ has been revealed, exciting fans and film enthusiasts. The film, set in 14th-century South India, has garnered significant interest and has received a ‘U/A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after completing post-production. Chirag Jani plays a key role as the first-level antagonist among three powerful villains in the movie.

Director Mohan G praised Chirag Jani’s portrayal of Mohammad Bin Tughlaq, emphasizing the complexity of the character as an intelligent ruler whose decisions often led to unforeseen consequences. The film also stars Richard Rishi, Rakshana Indusudan, and Natti Natraj in pivotal roles, with a diverse ensemble cast including Y G Mahendran, Nadodigal Barani, and others. ‘Draupathi 2’ boasts a grand production with notable talents in cinematography, music, action choreography, and production design.

The film’s production has been a collaborative effort between Chola Shakkaravarthi (Netaji Productions) and G.M. Film Corporation, with a team of skilled professionals handling various aspects of filmmaking. With meticulous attention to detail in casting and production elements, ‘Draupathi 2’ aims to bring to life the historical narrative with authenticity and depth, promising an engaging cinematic experience for audiences.
