The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will commence with an energetic opening ceremony at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, featuring performances by Rishab Sharma, Shivamani, and popular artists. The tournament trophy will be unveiled by ICC Chairman Jay Shah and former India captain Rohit Sharma, along with 20 children representing participating countries.
The ceremony will include musical and dance showcases by Badshah and Nora Fatehi, embodying the spirit of T20 cricket. The event will culminate with a grand finale featuring both artists. The opening ceremony will precede the India vs USA match, marking the beginning of the 10th edition of the tournament.
The tournament, spanning India and Sri Lanka, will host 20 teams competing in 55 matches for the coveted trophy. Only ticket holders for the match will have access to the opening ceremony.
