Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri highlighted the significance of India Energy Week under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He emphasized the event’s role in fostering long-term global energy partnerships. Puri announced that India Energy Week 2026 will shift towards direct collaboration within the global energy sector.
The upcoming event aims to facilitate cooperation among key international and domestic stakeholders across energy value chains. It will feature the 9th Prime Minister’s Roundtable, uniting foreign CEOs, Indian private sector leaders, and public sector representatives. Additionally, the India-Arab Energy Dialogue and India-Japan Roundtable, among others, will be integral parts of the event.
Puri emphasized that the event will align global investment and policy strategies with India’s growing energy demands. He mentioned the participation of 11 country pavilions at India Energy Week 2026, reflecting strong international interest. The event will also host bilateral meetings involving senior leadership, including the Prime Minister, to strengthen global energy cooperation.
