He mentioned that bilateral trade between India and Nordic countries has quadrupled in the past decade. Furthermore, Modi expressed optimism about the India-European Free Trade Agreement, expecting it to bring about a new era of relations between India and the Nordic nations.
India and the Nordic countries are described as natural partners due to their shared values of democracy, multilateralism, and the rule of law. Modi thanked Norwegian PM Jonas Gahr Store for hosting the third India-Nordic Summit.
