The India-US trade agreement is on the verge of completion, with US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor stating that it is “99 per cent there.” Gor expressed confidence that the remaining issues will soon be resolved, emphasizing the positive progress towards the interim trade deal. Gor mentioned that a United States delegation, led by the Deputy Trade Negotiator, has been in Delhi for discussions and is now in India for further engagements. He highlighted the commitment from both sides to conclude the agreement, describing it as a “win-win” situation for India and the United States. The delegation is set to meet with Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal as negotiations reach the final stages.
