Indian American leaders in the United States have praised the Bharatiya Janata Party’s success in West Bengal, hailing it as a significant moment for governance, security, and development in the state. Dr. Bharat Barai termed the outcome a triumph for the people of West Bengal, criticizing the previous administration for allegedly resorting to intimidation tactics like rape, arson, and murder to influence voters.

Dr. Adapa Prasad, president of Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP-USA), congratulated the people of Bengal and Assam on the BJP’s historic win in Bengal and impressive performance in Assam. He also highlighted the party’s success in Puducherry and Keralam, emphasizing the strategic importance of BJP’s victory in Bengal for the nation’s security.

Dr. Vasudev Patel, general secretary of OFBJP-USA, underscored Bengal’s significance for the country’s security and integrity, noting plans for victory celebrations across the U.S. Cardiologist Dr. Indranil Basu-Ray lamented the state’s economic decline and rise in crime under previous governance, expressing hope for Bengal’s resurgence under the BJP’s leadership.

Amitabh Mittal, a community leader, expressed optimism for Bengal’s future under the BJP, envisioning a return to prosperity and progress. He commended the efforts of BJP leaders, workers, supporters, and voters in achieving this victory, calling for a peaceful and prosperous era for Bengal.
