The Indian diaspora and Slovak artists in Bratislava expressed their admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit. They praised his dedication, noting his continuous work over 12 years without a day off. PM Modi was warmly received by slogans and traditional Slovak hospitality upon his arrival at the Grand Hotel River Park.
Drummer and Percussionist Marek Zilinec, from the Slovak musical ensemble Mahadeva Kirtan Projekt, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform for PM Modi. Indian diaspora members, like Rajendra Prasad and Nitin Patel, shared their emotional experiences of meeting the Prime Minister up close and appreciating his work ethic and nature. Chirag, another diaspora member, highlighted the significance of PM Modi’s visit in addressing community issues.
The visit included performances of India’s national song Vande Mataram by the Lucnica Ensemble and a traditional Slovak dance to welcome PM Modi. The Slovak Foreign Minister greeted PM Modi with bread and salt, symbolizing prosperity, value, friendship, and protection. The visit aims to strengthen India-Slovakia relations and explore new avenues of cooperation between the two countries.
