A dominant performance by the Indian U20 men’s team led to a 3-0 victory over Pakistan in the SAFF U20 Championship 2026. Omang Dodum’s two goals in the second half, along with an early strike by Vishal Yadav, secured the win for the Blue Colts. This victory ensured India’s place in the semifinals and eliminated Pakistan from the tournament.

India started strong with Yadav’s early goal and continued to press forward. Despite Pakistan’s attempts to equalize, goalkeeper Suraj Singh Aheibam’s crucial saves maintained India’s clean sheet. Dodum’s brace in the second half sealed the comprehensive win for the Indian team.

The match saw India’s defense standing tall against Pakistan’s attacking efforts. With a two-goal lead, India controlled the game’s tempo while Pakistan struggled to break through. Dodum’s clinical finish from a penalty kick in the 88th minute sealed the victory for India.

India’s victory sets them up well for the tournament, with a top spot in Group B within reach. The Blue Colts will now face Bangladesh in their final group-stage match, aiming to secure their place at the top of the group and advance to the semifinals.
