The Indian Women’s cricket team has landed in Australia for a series starting on February 15, featuring three T20 matches, three One-Day Internationals, and a significant one-off Test. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the team across all formats, with Smriti Mandhana serving as vice-captain.

In a video shared by BCCI Women, Indian players expressed their enthusiasm for the Australian tour. Smriti Mandhana mentioned celebrating RCB’s second WPL title and her return to national duty after a busy but enjoyable period.

India’s first T20I against Australia is scheduled for February 15 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, followed by matches at the Manuka Oval on February 19 and the Adelaide Oval on February 21. These T20Is are crucial preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in June.

After the T20Is, the focus will shift to the ODI series, starting on February 24 at Allan Border Field in Brisbane. The series will then move to Hobart’s Bellerive Oval for the second and third ODIs on February 27 and March 1. This series marks the first ODI encounter between the two teams since India’s victory in the Women’s World Cup 2025 semi-final.

The tour will culminate in a prestigious one-off Test match at the Perth Stadium from March 6 to March 9, concluding the series.
